Andrew Fitch - General Manager

Andrew began his career in industry, working as an engineer then as a trouble-shooter for leading polymer and chemical companies. Having globetrotted for several years, he settled down to a desk job, putting his research skills and hands-on experience to good use by writing various web and print products for the European Commission, among others. In recent years, he has developed expertise in technical authoring, creating manuals for software programs in the IT and engineering sectors.

Cecilia Fitch - Editorial Director

Having started her career in London, Cecilia moved from sub-editor on a top-selling lifestyle title to a Scottish newspaper. As a trailing spouse, she worked as a freelance editor before settling in Belgium. Picking up her career again, Cecilia was a production assistant in the launch team of The Economist’s European Voice before joining a communications agency working with the European Institutions. For over 20 years, she has managed a wide range of print and web publications as well as corporate publishing in the private sector, academia, IT and industry. She is very familiar with all aspects of content, production and quality assurance, including matching deliverables to audience, planning, resourcing freelancers and suppliers, and cost and time management.

Ben Fitch - Sales Director

Following several years working for two large B2B publishing houses in London, Ben has high-level account management experience selling on print, websites, and international events, mainly in the financial and legal sectors. His marketing skills also led him to identify a gap in the market which he quickly filled by launching a new monthly specialist title, ETF Magazine – already a market leader for 10,000 ETF industry experts. He is now using his knowledge of media and markets on a new quarterly publication serving European and regulatory markets. Ben’s expertise can guide a client from a concept, through database and circulation development, subscriptions, to creating a dedicated media kit. He can lead an experienced sales team to maximise on prospective buyers contacted, number of ads sold, and to exceed client targets.

Jessica Fitch - Editorial Coordinator

Jessica is currently doing a Masters in European Politics. She has been honing her editorial skills since her contribution to an expat lifestyle magazine while at school in Brussels. Thanks to her excellent language and writing skills, she is able to translate texts both literally and journalistically. Jessica also has a very good eye for detail and has done a variety of proof-reading tasks for communication specialists in Belgium. As well as pursuing extra-curricular editorial tasks, she is also involved in radio and video work at university and is keen to develop media relations.

Tim Reynolds - Editorial Consultant

Tim’s career started in fundamental research for a leading European energy company, but he caught the ‘communications bug’ following a Media Fellowship with the BBC. He migrated into content provision and media relations via corporate communications and technology transfer activities. Before moving to Brussels he was an Account Director with one of the UK’s leading public relations companies working with a portfolio of B2B clients – in particular those from the science and technology sectors. Today, Tim works with a wide range of clients in Brussels and the UK providing original writing, editorial consultancy and media relations expertise.

Jessica Houthuys - Art and Graphic Designer

Jessica graduated in visual communication from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Brussels, Belgium. She gained her practical experience in international companies in Belgium, Italy and the UK, working in graphic design related to corporate identity, logos, illustrations such as advertisements, catalogues, brochures and leaflets, visual image development, layout, packaging and web design. Among other skills, Jessica is responsible for creating the graphics for printed and electronic visual media, layout of texts in different languages, as well as creating pure design elements using illustrations and photography.
